Construction
Wastewater Solutions constructs complete on-site sewage facility (OSSF) systems for customers across Texas, including all the working parts which go into such a unit.
Most commonly, in places lying outside of city limits and infrastructure, a wastewater treatment plant is required. Less commonly, a wastewater disposal method is required, as well. The wastewater always disposes post-treatment; first, your sewer system carries the wastewater from your company’s building to the treatment unit. Then, the treated water travels through the disposal system, eventually landing in a predetermined location. Most commonly, these systems use spray or drip irrigation. Drip irrigation involves the wastewater or storm water flowing through designated pipelines to arrive at specific areas around the property, then dripping, slow and steady, to provide optimum hydration. Disposal methods may also lead treated wastewater straight into the earth, returning it to the groundwater source.
The wastewater treatment best suited for your property may vary, as well. For example, one type of unit we offer is a re-use wastewater treatment plant. Re-use systems recycle the wastewater, providing a greener, more environmentally conscious alternative to general disposal. For a recycle system, the building’s wastewater pumps to a wastewater treatment unit. After it’s been cleaned, with all the waste separated from the water, the water pumps back to the building, serving another term in the building’s restrooms.
No matter the size of your project, WWS can construct an OSSF system to fit your plumbing needs. Our portfolio includes smaller commercial works as well as larger, more complex municipal systems. Generally, our plants discharge 100 to 1 million gallons of wastewater per day. We can construct an OSSF unit for a single school, a school district, an office complex, a restaurant, a subdivision or any number of other properties.
We not only provide complete OSSF construction, but we tailor our product to your needs. Our list of construction options extend beyond just wastewater treatment units and disposal methods; it also includes lift stations, scada systems, odor control systems, water pumping stations, storm water collection and detention ponds.
Prior to actual construction, we review all the data compiled in our database over the years concerning permit requirements, area limitations and general consideration of different types of facilities. The strength and type of wastewater treatment, for example, depends upon specific location, terrain, discharge and so on. We conduct site evaluations to excavate and evaluate soil samples and profiles, considering all the specified governmental and environmental requirements and limitations for your specific OSSF construction site.
